In Photosynthetic Remembrance fiber optic cables have been threaded through a hollow tree made of styrofoam and epoxy. The tree in this case emits light via the fiber optic cables. Optical attachments containing photographic slides are hidden at the end of each branch. The slides, which are of digitally altered images of green foliage, project onto a lightweight screen that sways in the currents of air created by a fan.
